Business Innovation and Investment visa 188
This provisional business visa 188 must be nominated by an Australian State or Territory government agency or Austrade to apply.
This provisional visa lets holders of a Business Innovation and Investment (Provisional) visa (subclass 188) to stay up to 4 years and 3 months. As well as an extension of another 2 to 4 years if necessary.

Business Talent (Permanent) visa 132
This visa allows you to establish a new or develop an existing business in Australia.
You must have:
- a net value of at least AUD1.5 million (lawfully acquired)
- an annual business turnover of at least AUD3 million for at least 2 of the 4 fiscal years immediately before you are invited to apply
- total net assets of at least AUD400,000 as the ownership interest in one or more qualifying businesses for least 2 of the 4 fiscal years immediately before you are invited to apply
Business Talent Visa 132 Streams
Two streams includes Significant Business History stream Business Talent (Permanent) visa (subclass 132) Venture Capital Entrepreneur stream
- establish a new or develop an existing business in Australia
- stay in Australia permanently
- bring family members with you
You should have funding of at least AUD1 million from an Australian venture capital firm as well as be nominated by an Australian state or territory government
You must follow the terms of your venture capital agreement after you enter Australia.
Funding must be for:
- business development or expansion of a business in Australia
- the commercialisation of a product in Australia
- early phase start-up of a business in Australia
Business owner visa 890
This visa is for people who own and manage a business in Australia. It allows you to stay in Australia indefinitely. To apply as a primary applicant, you must have a qualifying visa granted on a particular basis
You must currently hold an eligible visa. Eligible visa means:
- You hold a visa in any of the following visa subclasses:
- Business Owner (Provisional) visa (subclass 160)
- Senior Executive (Provisional) visa (subclass 161)
- Investor (Provisional) visa (subclass 162)
- State/Territory Sponsored Business Owner (Provisional) visa (subclass 163)

Visa 188 Business Innovation and Investment are four years 3 months temporary visa, and you will be eligible to apply visa 888 permanently.
Subclass 132 Business Talent visa is a permanent business visa, there are two streams Significant Business History and Venture Capital Entrepreneur stream.
